Our quilted bedspreads are available in a range of 16 colors that you can combine to create your own plain or two-tone bedspread, entirely reversible. Whatever option you choose, both sides of your bedspread are made of 100% linen (190gr/m2) and can therefore be used interchangeably on either side.

Regarding the filling, Linenshed has also opted for natural materials, either cotton or wool with a density of 200 gr per m2 according to your needs and the season during which you wish to use it.

How to maintain your washed linen bedspread?

To preserve the beauty and durability of your washed linen bedspread as much as possible, it is important to follow the manufacturer's care instructions. A linen bedspread padded with cotton or wool requires somewhat different care precautions.

If it is an unlined linen bedspread, or padded with cotton, it can be easily maintained by machine washing, with a delicate cycle and a mild detergent, without bleaching or softening agents that could damage the fiber. Do not overstuff your washing drum to avoid stressing the weave and causing any deformation.

If you avoid eating or drinking in bed, there is little chance that the bedspread will present stubborn stains, and if this were the case, it is preferable to consult a cleaning professional to avoid partial discoloration as a result of using too aggressive a stain remover.

For a wool-quilted bedspread, it must imperatively be dry cleaned by a professional or washed in cold water, by hand. Wool cannot be machine washed, as it is subject to shrinking, felting, and deformation when exposed to hot water and the agitation of a washing machine.
